90 DAY CALENDAR

INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to the 90 Day Calendar Instructions, a comprehensive guide designed to help you effectively utilize your calendar for maximum productivity, organization, and goal achievement. In today’s fast-paced world, managing time efficiently is crucial, and a well-structured calendar can be your greatest ally in this endeavor.

Setting Up Your 90 Day Calendar

Key Steps to Build Your 90 Day Calendar

PREWORK: Set Up for Success

Think ahead of what is happening in your life and business for the next 90 Days. Make note of the following:

  • What public holidays will there be?
  • Do you have any personal leave planned?
  • Are there important business events scheduled?

Step 1: Add the Months

Add the next 3 months to the template, e.g. April 2024, May 2024, June 2024.

Step 2: Set up the Days of the Month

Your blank calendar has days numbered from 1 to 31. Look at a yearly calendar and start adding the days of the month
that align with specific dates.

For example: April 1, 2024 falls on a Monday so start the April calendar with an “M” next to Row 1 and continue down the column for April.
Step 2: Set up the Days of the Month

However, May 1, 2024 falls on a Wednesday so start the May calendar with a “W” on Row 1 and continue down the column. Repeat for June 1, 2024 that falls on a Saturday. Complete the 3 x monthly calendars.

Step 3: Set up your Strategic Calendar

Refer to the Notes you created in Pre-work.

Add your important dates to the calendar. Block out time to travel and prepare for important events.

TIP: Shade the weekends within each month to provide some perspective.

Block out existing planned activities and take note of the “free” time you have in the day.

Step 4: Review your Calendar

Take the time to reflect on your calendar and ask yourself the following questions:

  • Are there any conflicts or challenges presented by my calendars?
  • What impact will the calendar events have on my ability to remain productive?
  • What actions must I take to address any challenges that arise?
  • What opportunities arise from these calendar events?

Step 5: Continue to Update Your Calendar

As you work through the months, return to this calendar and add any new events and information.

TIP: Make the 90 Day Calendar your primary resource. Transfer information from your 90 Day Calendar to Monthly and Daily Plans.
